The following Cleantech Committee members are bringing you the Texas-Israel Chamber of Commerce Cleanovation Conference.

Ari Reubin

Ari Reubin is the Global Chair of Cleanovation 2011.  Along with being a Board Member of the Texas-Israel Chamber of Commerce since 2009, Ari is also Co-Chairman of the Clean Technology Committee.  Ari is an experienced operations and strategy executive with a strong track record to envision and implement initiatives.  He drove business development efforts resulting in 30%-plus increase in consulting revenue for 2010 vs. 2009.  He also drove business process improvement representing more than $360M in client revenue for CBRE Richard Ellis (CBRE); he ensured Return on Investment (ROI) of greater than 3.8X in 2008; applied business process solutions to more than fifty Fortune 500 and mid-market companies in the US, Canada, Far East, Europe, Middle East, and South Africa; two of the smaller companies experienced public offerings on NASDAQ or AMEX.  Ari has also worked with FDA contacts and other regulatory/Public Sector contacts.

Ari is the Co-Founder, and Executive Managing Director of DARWIN’S BEAGLE, INC., Dallas, Texas.  The firm is a specialist in providing business process solutions to Fortune 500 and mid-market companies. Each solution leverages Six-Sigma and Lean Six-Sigma improvement methods to evolve management processes and product innovation.  His team applied these methods to more than 50 clients in the US, Canada, Far East, Europe, Middle East, and South Africa.  Through these monumental achievements,  he is also Senior Advisor, Business Process Improvement, CB RICHARD ELLIS GROUP (CBRE), Dallas Texas.  He has been advising: American Express India, American Express Corporate, Comerica Bank, Dow Chemical, Exxon-Mobil, Pfizer, and Siemens.  Prior to 2009 Ari was the global practice leader, as VP of Quality and Innovation Assurance for CBRE.

Through 2007, Ari was the Associate Director, Enterprise Transformation, UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS AT DALLAS, Dallas, Texas.  He served as an Executive-in-Residence at the School of Management.  He helped in the launching and provision this unique business transformation methodology, Enterprise Transformation,  for large and medium-size companies.

As a leader, Ari has shown he adapts easily to new situations and multi-national cultures. To facilitate accomplishing his goals, Ari has an extensive network of worldwide contacts in a broad range of industries and academic domains.  His core competencies include: Business Process Improvement, Certified Six-Sigma Black-Belt, Product Life Cycle Management, Strategic Business Development, Business Transformation, Complex Project Management, Operational Due-Diligence, Technology Commercialization, and Creating Strategic Alliances.

Ari earned a Masters of Science, Materials Engineering in field of Polymer Processing, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Urbana, Illinois. Thesis topic: “Compression Molding and Computer Modeling of Fiber-Reinforced Composites.” Sponsored by DOW Chemical. Awarded Edmond James full academic scholarship. Served as Research  Assistant – Composite Materials Process Development to develop and optimize a compression molding process and computer model for processing DOW Chemical’s fiber-reinforced Polypropylene.  He has a Bachelor of Science, Materials Engineering in field of Metallurgy, Minor in Marketing Management. Michigan State University, East Lansing, Michigan. Thesis topic: “Laser Heat Treatment of Plain Carbon Steels.”  Ari was awarded the AIME academic scholarship.  He was on the Dean’s list & President’s list, and served as President of the Materials Engineering Society.  He is an ASQ Certified Six-Sigma Black-Belt, and  he completed post graduate studies at Wharton Business School, American Management Association, and other post-graduate education inMergers & Acquisitions, Finance, Accounting, Business Law, Strategic Marketing, and Statistics.


Arie Brish

Arie Brish is an accomplished energy and technology executive and entrepreneur, experienced in leading a wide variety of organizations and business deals. His business acumen includes P&L general management, funding, operations, marketing, business development, sales, turnarounds, R&D, and project management.

Mr. Brish is the president of cxo360, an energy business consulting firm.

Since 2002, cxo360 has been engaged in multiple projects in U.S, Asia, Mexico, and Israel, mainly in energy, commodities, government, and technology.

Some of his recent engagements include:

  1. Business development for two wind energy companies. Signed up multiple deals.
  2. Interim CEO of a green hi-tech firm.
  3. Consulting on wind turbines reliability.
  4. Advising an energy saving firm on setting up a distribution channel.
  5. Helping a utility company on storage and smart grid technologies.
  6. Chairman of Cleanovation 2010.
  7. Director of Leviathan Wind Energizer Inc.

Mr. Brish is a co-founder of the Texas-Israel Chamber of Commerce, and serves on its board of directors, as well as Co-Chair of its Clean-Tech Committee. He is also a member of Renewable Energy Network, CleanTX, Energy M&A, and the Pickens Plan Groups.

Arie Brish led several mega sales and significant market share growth initiatives. He scaled controllers sales from $288M to $710M in four years (over 35% yr/yr) while advancing market share from #4 to #1.

Mr. Brish has executed multiple operational turnarounds. He led a major profit improvement project of a $200M business unit that achieved a 24% margin gain in two years. Mr. Brish also led a quality improvement effort that resulted a 90% reduction in field quality incidents.

As the CEO of Tehuti, Arie turned around the company from a very problematic incubation stage, and led it to its successful product launch and market traction, with over thirty paying customers after first year of introduction. During his first three years on the job he secured over $2M of government funding for the project, as well as over $10M of VC investment.

Over the years Mr. Brish facilitated multiple green initiatives by supplying enabling technologies to electrical vehicles, automotive emission control, smart grid, and low power infrastructure equipment.

Mr. Brish holds a BSEE from Ben Gurion University, an MBA from Recanati School of Business, Tel-Aviv University, and numerous senior leadership training programs at Motorola University.
