With only two weeks to go, the “Cleanovation” Conference, scheduled for February 22, 2010 in Austin, TX, continues to pick up corporate sponsorships and international registrants further reinforcing market interest in the technological relationships between Texas and Israel for Cleantech.

The Israeli delegation includes over 25 companies strong and is headed by the Chief Scientist Eli Opper (PHD graduate of University of Texas, Austin). Registration to the event is very strong. Expected attendance is approximately 200 people, with many major Texas-based energy and utility firms as well as local investors.

“We’ve seen a surge in registrations by both Texas and Israel businesses and enthusiasts,” said Texas-Israel Chamber of Commerce President Greg Yavner.  “This is a clear indication of the growing interest in energy-efficient practices and technologies benefiting both consumers and the environment,” he continued.
